Historic Structure Report
Anne worked on a historic structure report of the Newlin Grist Mill. The project included measuring drawings; documenting construction methods, materials, and past uses; creating a timeline of renovations and maintenance; and compiling the information into a report. This internship provided an opportunity for Anne to combine her interests in structural engineering and historic buildings, while creating a report that supports the interpretation, maintenance, and future preservation of the mill. Anne was an engineering major at Swarthmore College.
